Lunar Calendar 2024: Moon Quilt for a Patchwork Time

Introducing one of two lunar calendars for 2024: Moon Quilt for a Patchwork Time. 

I found myself in my new studio after a dizzying year, and all I had with me was a quilt that my friend had given me -- patches of clothes from her childhood. I began to paint it. And I thought about this world right now, and how much we need to be wrapped in something warm, and how we hold so much information and patch it together to make our own worlds. I look up at the night sky and I think of blankets.
