Art lessons

I teach art lessons to children in my studio in the Beck Cohen barn (downtown Charlottesville). 50-minute lessons. Please contact me to schedule.

The price is $45 for a 50-minute lesson, including supplies.

For a pod of 2-4 children, the price is $30 per child for a 50-minute lesson.

My approach to artmaking is give a child the space, time, connection, and trust so that they can make what they need to make. I follow their interests and creativity while offering guidance through any technique questions or sticking points. We narrow this exploration down by focusing on a theme and/or material.

It is a peaceful, light-hearted, illuminating experience for me as I watch children learn to trust themselves and the ever-unfolding art process.
